About DTVKit

DTVKit is a not-for-profit organisation which means we are run for the benefit of our members. In return, members have a range of benefits including unlimited source code access, royalty free software and no upfront license fees. The vision of DTVKit is to shape the future of the digital TV industry by enabling the joint development of a shared pool of DVB software components. Our DVB stack supports all major platforms and is ported to multiple OEM and SoC’s.

Since being founded in 2013, the DTVKit member community has grown to 25+ members, which spreads worldwide. Selected by tier one Operators, Semiconductors and Manufacturers, our diverse range of members specialise in various industries within the consumer electronics sector. The Hybrid White Label STB

The Hybrid White Label platform provides a standard way to include DVB into the RDK platform. It can also be used as a proof of concept when loaded with the Hybrid VA software which is also available from DTVKit. It is low cost and available to order today.

Full Integration into RDK5

DTVKit’s market-proven DVB stack has been integrated into the RDK-V framework. It provides users with a complete hybrid solution for Operators and set-top box makers. This integration provides support for DVB-S/S2, DVB T/T2 and DVB-C. It is fully compliant with the RDK methodology for CAS, enabling the implementation of RDK based Hybrid solutions with the minimum of R&D.
