The pay TV industry faces significant hurdles with onboarding OTT apps, including multiple and lengthy integrations, numerous test cycles per integration, and a lack of standardized platforms.
Firebolt Connect is a new RDKM program that aims to simplify and accelerate this process. It gives RDK members access to a curated library of validated apps, easily integrable into an operator’s distribution platform. It also offers content service providers a streamlined process to test, validate, and publish Firebolt applications to any participating operator.
