CommScope RDK Video Accelerator

The RDK Video Accelerator is a pre-integrated application development platform to support the RDK community in bringing new applications to consumers. Pre-loaded with the Metrological App store, it provides a reference integration that allows operators to expedite application development, testing, & service deployment.

The CommScope VIP7802 IP Set-top is the latest platform for the CommScope RDK Video Accelerator program. It supports 4K Ultra HD / HDR 10, Dolby Vision™, Dolby ATMOS® audio, AV1 video codec, Wi-Fi 6® and Bluetooth® (5.0).

RDK Smart Media Devices

Smart Media Devices (SMD) change the way people enjoy their entertainment, obtain information, and interact with their connected home. By combining multiple devices in one, the Smart Media Device provides an integrated voice-visual enabled consumer experience and provides for greater cross-service delivery flexibility.

The new CommScope SMD7852 RDK Smart Media Device combines the functionality of a set-top, smart speaker and smart assistant with far-field voice technology into a single device. The SMD7852 supports 4K Ultra HD / HDR 10, Dolby Vision™, Dolby ATMOS® audio, AV1 video codec, Wi-Fi 6® and Bluetooth® (5.0). It also includes a high-efficiency stereo amplifier, passive resonator, and two speakers.
