He is focused on improving and extending RDK-B architecture in generic and modularized structure. Sanchar extended the WAN management eco-system of RDK-B by updating xDSL, GPON, PPP, DHCP architecture and made it configurable as per operator’s requirement. He aims to standardize QoS management in RDK-B along with supporting FWA technology.

Jason Briggs is the President and General Manager of RDK Management, a joint venture of several leading operators, which manages RDK, a global open-source software platform powering video and broadband devices. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of the RDK open-source software consortium, supporting a community of more than 600 technology companies including service providers, CPE manufacturers, SoC vendors, software developers, and system integrators. Jason was instrumental in the global growth of RDK serving dozens of service providers and more than 100 million device deployments worldwide.
He previously served as a Senior Director at Comcast, where he managed various licensing programs that enable the industry to benefit from Comcast’s investments in technology innovation, including content protection, STB software, interactive television and VOD. He also served on the senior leadership team of CAL, a joint venture between Comcast and ARRIS (now CommScope), delivering secure network technology solutions to product companies and MVPDs, which was instrumental in the industry transition to all-digital video.
Prior to Comcast, Jason was an analyst for The Yankee Group, where he consulted with senior executives from some of the largest software companies on areas such as product positioning, competitive analysis, partnerships, M&A, strategic technology direction and overall market trends. Dave Chapman is a Senior Technical Consultant for T-Mobile US, supporting cross-industry initiatives, in particular chairing the Remote Management Working Group, and co-chairing the Broadband Apps Working Group for RDK.
Dave has been a developer and architect of CPE software for almost 30 years, beginning at Pace Micro Technology in the early days of digital TV in the UK, before moving to Consult RED. He has worked at all levels of CPE SW stacks for both Video and Broadband, in many capacities as engineer, tech lead, SW architect, and solution architect.
Dave has a BSc (Mathematics & Computing), and a PhD (Mathematical Sciences).

Paul leads the Global Devices Software team for Comcast, developing the RDK software platform that powers 100+ million devices around the world – from TV’s and Set Top Boxes, through broadband gateways and extenders, to home cameras and IoT devices. RDK is the fully modular, portable, and customizable open-source software solution that standardizes core functions used in video, broadband, and IoT devices.
He started his career developing hardware and software at Philips Research Labs in the UK and following 10 years in consulting with Cap Gemini and HP Services, he moved to work for Sky. There, for the past 16 years, he has led product delivery teams developing Sky+, Sky Q, the Sky Glass TV, the Sky Stream IP box, the Sky Live camera for Glass, and numerous broadband devices.
In his role leading Comcast’s Global Devices Software team, Paul is passionate about creating the experience at the heart of the home that connects everyone to what they need and love.

Bruce Curtin is currently a Product Director at Irdeto focusing on security and enablement of next generation media entertainment for Pay TV operators. As part of Irdeto Experience, Bruce is focused on devices and data, critical for optimizing operational expenses, monetization and consumer engagement related content. After 4-years in the Telecommunications industry in South Africa, Bruce has joined Irdeto and moved to The Netherlands. Over a 25-year period Bruce has worked on many of Irdeto’s key initiatives covering scalable broadcast client security and solution integrations, secure chipset ramp-up, end to end connected open-source-based middleware for super aggregation and lately data and analytics and remote management solutions. Bruce has also been enthusiastically involved in supporting the transition of Irdeto from traditional Broadcast security company into an active and trusted Service oriented Security and Solution Provider that can best meet the OTT Transformational needs of Pay TV operators in the competitive and fast-moving Pay TV landscape today. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cape Town (South Africa).

Thomas Henze has been the Feature Owner Mobile in the Home Broadband division of Deutsche Telekom AG since 2023. In this role, he leads the design and implementation of mobile use cases within an RDK framework, spanning CPE, backend systems, and user interfaces.
Since joining Deutsche Telekom in 2001, he has held various leadership roles in product management and innovation, with a strong focus on mobile network technologies. He played a key role in advancing consumer eSIM in the industry and led major rollout programs across Germany and Europe.

Charles is a Software Architect at RDK Management, where he focuses on the design and evolution of broadband gateway and Wi‑Fi software platforms. His work spans RDK‑B architecture, features for ISP deployments, advanced Wi‑Fi capabilities, telemetry and analytics, and long‑term platform scalability.
Charles is the founding architect of RDK‑B and has been actively involved in its architecture and implementation since the project began in 2010. He has played a key role in shaping its architecture, scalability, and open‑source strategy, and helped to establish RDK‑B as a widely deployed, open‑source broadband gateway platform used by operators globally.
Previously, Charles was a Comcast Fellow, serving as the lead software architect for RDK‑B. Before Comcast, he was Chief Product Architect and Fellow for Technicolor’s Connected Home Business Unit (now Vantiva), where he guided gateway and home networking software architecture. At Cisco Systems, Charles was a Principal Engineer and the founding architect of the CCSP / RDK‑B software initiative. At Cisco - Scientific Atlanta he worked as Director of Engineering leading teams developing cable modems and broadband gateways. He brings deep expertise in embedded systems, broadband device platforms, Wi‑Fi software, and large‑scale open‑source architecture.
