Omar Alasssil is VP of Customer Success & Solutions at Airties, where he is responsible for driving end-to-end solution excellence, customer success, and value realisation across a global portfolio of telco operators.

With extensive experience in telecommunication technologies and service provider ecosystems, Omar works on ensuring measurable improvements in end-user experience and operational performance.

Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in guiding operators through major technology transitions, including cloud-based optimisation, AI-first and data-driven service models. He is particularly passionate about leveraging AI and automation to transform how broadband providers deliver proactive, personalised customer experiences.
Based in the UK, Omar is actively engaged in shaping industry conversations around next-generation home connectivity, AI-driven network optimisation, and the evolution of customer experience in broadband services.

Sanchar comes with 11+ years of experience in RDK-B while working for Comcast, Liberty Global and Deutsche Telekom along the way. He is focused on improving and extending RDK-B architecture in generic and modularized structure. Sanchar extended the WAN management eco-system of RDK-B by updating xDSL, GPON, PPP, DHCP architecture and made it configurable as per operator’s requirement. He aims to standardize QoS management in RDK-B along with supporting FWA technology.

Aziz Bohoudi has accumulated over two decades of experience in the Telco and Cable industries, with a specific focus on TV and Broadband services. Currently serving as the Vice President of Entertainment Platform at Infosys, he oversees the Entertainment Technology and Delivery organization, leading the transformation of entertainment services across diverse markets.

Aziz specializes in key areas such as digital transformation, system integration, delivery management, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and technology strategy. He is known for his strategic thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and his ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.

With a wealth of knowledge in telecommunications and cable industries, Aziz offers valuable insights into the ever-evolving landscape of TV and Broadband services, digital transformation, and technology strategy.

Jason Briggs is the President and General Manager of RDK Management, a joint venture of several leading operators, which manages RDK, a global open-source software platform powering video and broadband devices. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of the RDK open-source software consortium, supporting a community of more than 600 technology companies including service providers, CPE manufacturers, SoC vendors, software developers, and system integrators. Jason was instrumental in the global growth of RDK serving dozens of service providers and more than 100 million device deployments worldwide.  

He previously served as a Senior Director at Comcast, where he managed various licensing programs that enable the industry to benefit from Comcast’s investments in technology innovation, including content protection, STB software, interactive television and VOD. He also served on the senior leadership team of CAL, a joint venture between Comcast and ARRIS (now CommScope), delivering secure network technology solutions to product companies and MVPDs, which was instrumental in the industry transition to all-digital video.  

Prior to Comcast, Jason was an analyst for The Yankee Group, where he consulted with senior executives from some of the largest software companies on areas such as product positioning, competitive analysis, partnerships, M&A, strategic technology direction and overall market trends. He was a frequent speaker at industry conferences

At Liberty Global, Bart oversees STB software architecture, its evolution and new feature designs impacting the RDK OS, middleware and OTT apps.

That software serves the TV customers of Sunrise (Switzerland), Telenet (Belgium), Virgin Media O2 (UK & Ireland) and VodafoneZiggo (NL) and is updated frequently.

Dave Chapman is a Senior Technical Consultant for T-Mobile US, supporting cross-industry initiatives, in particular chairing the Remote Management Working Group, and co-chairing the Broadband Apps Working Group for RDK.

Dave has been a developer and architect of CPE software for almost 30 years, beginning at Pace Micro Technology in the early days of digital TV in the UK, before moving to Consult RED. He has worked at all levels of CPE SW stacks for both Video and Broadband, in many capacities as engineer, tech lead, SW architect, and solution architect.

Dave has a BSc (Mathematics & Computing), and a PhD (Mathematical Sciences).

Paul leads the Global Devices Software team for Comcast, developing the RDK software platform that powers 100+ million devices around the world – from TV’s and Set Top Boxes, through broadband gateways and extenders, to home cameras and IoT devices. RDK is the fully modular, portable, and customizable open-source software solution that standardizes core functions used in video, broadband, and IoT devices.

He started his career developing hardware and software at Philips Research Labs in the UK and following 10 years in consulting with Cap Gemini and HP Services, he moved to work for Sky. There, for the past 16 years, he has led product delivery teams developing Sky+, Sky Q, the Sky Glass TV, the Sky Stream IP box, the Sky Live camera for Glass, and numerous broadband devices.

In his role leading Comcast’s Global Devices Software team, Paul is passionate about creating the experience at the heart of the home that connects everyone to what they need and love.

Bruce Curtin is currently a Product Director at Irdeto focusing on security and enablement of next generation media entertainment for Pay TV operators.  As part of Irdeto Experience, Bruce is focused on devices and data, critical for optimizing operational expenses, monetization and consumer engagement related content.  After 4-years in the Telecommunications industry in South Africa, Bruce has joined Irdeto and moved to The Netherlands.   Over a 25-year period Bruce has worked on many of Irdeto’s key initiatives covering scalable broadcast client security and solution integrations, secure chipset ramp-up, end to end connected open-source-based middleware for super aggregation and lately data and analytics and remote management solutions. Bruce has also been enthusiastically involved in supporting the transition of Irdeto from traditional Broadcast security company into an active and trusted Service oriented Security and Solution Provider that can best meet the OTT Transformational needs of Pay TV operators in the competitive and fast-moving Pay TV landscape today. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cape Town (South Africa).

Priscilla has more than 20 years of experience in Broadband integrated gateways, including 15 years of R&D experience in gateways. She has helped launch one of the first triple play gateways in the field integrated Wi-Fi. She previously served as Product Line Development Manager for leading operators in Europe, including 10 years as Product Manager for DOCSIS Cable gateways embedding Wi-Fi and RDK.

Özgür has been focused on digital multimedia and streaming technologies throughout his career, combining deep technical expertise with strong leadership. At Comcast/Metrological, he plays a key role in advancing open-source WPE WebKit delivery, collaborating closely with partners across the RDK ecosystem. He leads initiatives that leverage the latest web technologies while driving performance optimizations for web applications on RDK devices, guiding teams toward efficient and scalable solutions. Earlier in his career at Airties, he demonstrated his leadership capabilities by leading and delivering complex OTT and IPTV solutions, fostering collaboration and successfully navigating challenging technical landscapes.

Jose Ramon joined the RDK team as Director of Solution Architecture in 2021, where he is working with our broadband partners to create common technical solutions for the RDK-B community and providing guidance in the design and evolution of RDK-B, that will facilitate the adoption of new services.

Nuno is actively engaged in TV UI development, specifically for UMA, the premium set-top-box solution from NOS.

Having joined the UMA project from its initial days and currently heading the TV UI development team, there is still room for research and development on additional subjects such as IoT, blockchain and 3D printing.

Michael is a software architect and engineer on the RDK Video team at Comcast, and his focus is contributing to and leading software initiatives on the RDK Video platform. He has a strong background in embedded software development and computer graphics.

Danny Finnegan joined RDK in 2019 and has led strategy and cross‑functional programs across Business, Product, and Technology teams. He drives collaborative initiatives including working groups and use‑case forums across Architecture, Policy, and Standardization, aligning stakeholders around clear technical and market outcomes. Danny brings deep experience defining strategy and translating use‑case and market needs into successful Video and Broadband launches. Prior to RDK, he was a Product Owner and Subject Matter Expert at Comcast, focused on Video and Broadband adoption with partners, vendors, and OEMs.

As part of Vodafone’s Global Technology team, Oscar Gallego is the executive in charge of Group’s consumer products, services, and devices in the areas of home and security. As part of his duties, he is responsible for all home devices including CPEs and IoT offering, end-customer services such as SecureNet, SuperWiFi, as well as leading innovation across Vodafone’s world-wide footprint.  

Oscar joined Vodafone in 2009 and has fulfilled senior management roles in both technology strategy and service deployment. Prior to that, Oscar worked for network providers such as Ericsson, NEC and Nortel across engineering and R&D roles.

Simon is the Director of Device Software at Sky / Comcast, with over 25 years of experience in the consumer electronics and software engineering industry. He leads a global teams focused on Connected Devices and TV platforms, driving innovation in embedded systems, SoC integration, and the evolution of RDK. He is passionate about scalable software architecture and open platform development.

Thomas Henze has been the Feature Owner Mobile in the Home Broadband division of Deutsche Telekom AG since 2023. In this role, he leads the design and implementation of mobile use cases within an RDK framework, spanning CPE, backend systems, and user interfaces.

Since joining Deutsche Telekom in 2001, he has held various leadership roles in product management and innovation, with a strong focus on mobile network technologies. He played a key role in advancing consumer eSIM in the industry and led major rollout programs across Germany and Europe.

Thomas began his career as a software development engineer at Alcatel SEL AG and holds a degree in computer science engineering.

With over 25 years of experience at the intersection of technology, product development, business strategy, and go‑to‑market execution, Jon Iwanaga has led initiatives across video collaboration, connected home entertainment, media platforms, and IoT solutions. By blending business acumen, engineering expertise and product management experience, he translated complex technologies into scalable, customer‑centric products. Jon holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the UC San Diego and MBA from the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business; and is passionate about building products that power the next generation of connected experiences.

Russell leads RDK Broadband architecture for Comcast technology, product, and experience.  Russell brings over 24 years of industry experience across multiple product, development and architecture roles in connected devices and systems through his roles at Comcast, Cisco, Technicolor, Eaton, and Synamedia.

Wilfred is a Software Architect with 7 years of development experience, including 4 years on  RDK-B.

In his 25 years of experience in Telco industry, Endika has been serving in different technology and project delivery roles on Mobile and Broadband. Currently, as part of Vodafone Global Technology team, Endika is leading the development of Software for CPE’s at Vodafone based on RDK. In his role, he has managed to launch the first device with Vodafone software stack including a framework for application integration.

Previously, Endika has work in consulting for various telco operators.

Charles is a Software Architect at RDK Management, where he focuses on the design and evolution of broadband gateway and Wi‑Fi software platforms. His work spans RDK‑B architecture, features for ISP deployments, advanced Wi‑Fi capabilities, telemetry and analytics, and long‑term platform scalability.

Charles is the founding architect of RDK‑B and has been actively involved in its architecture and implementation since the project began in 2010. He has played a key role in shaping its architecture, scalability, and open‑source strategy, and helped to establish RDK‑B as a widely deployed, open‑source broadband gateway platform used by operators globally.

Previously, Charles was a Comcast Fellow, serving as the lead software architect for RDK‑B. Before Comcast, he was Chief Product Architect and Fellow for Technicolor’s Connected Home Business Unit (now Vantiva), where he guided gateway and home networking software architecture. At Cisco Systems, Charles was a Principal Engineer and the founding architect of the CCSP / RDK‑B software initiative.   At Cisco - Scientific Atlanta he worked as Director of Engineering leading teams developing cable modems and broadband gateways. He brings deep expertise in embedded systems, broadband device platforms, Wi‑Fi software, and large‑scale open‑source architecture.

Soumya Munshi leads the RDK Wi-Fi team. He joined Comcast 8 years ago as Sr. Manager. Since then, his team has innovated, executed and deployed multiple initiatives such as OneWifi, Unified Mesh, Passpoint, Wi-Fi Channel State assisted features and many others along with filing of several patents in Wi-Fi area. Before Comcast Soumya has worked as manager and technical lead of various wireless (cellular and Wi-Fi) projects at multiple startups in the Bay Area and has over 20 years of experience in various roles in wireless technology projects. 

Sandeep Nair leads the RDK Developer Experience organization at Comcast, driving AI-assisted development, modern CI/CD platforms, and unified engineering workflows to accelerate productivity and innovation. He also oversees third-party open-source management and upgrade strategy for Comcast RDK platforms, ensuring a secure and up-to-date software stack, and chairs the RDK Platform Working Group within RDK Central to help shape platform direction and foster global collaboration across the ecosystem.

Sreekanth Natarajan (Sreek) is Sr. Director Technology at Qualcomm Chennai with 30 years of experience in networking and communication technology. He currently leads engineering teams that focus on software systems engineering, building solutions and products using networking and Wireless LAN technologies that span across gateways and routers.  In his current role, he focusses on Technology Strategy, Networking Solutions, Incubating new concepts, System Definition. Primarily from a networking and carrier software background, he has been associated with numerous cutting-edge technologies for the carrier service providers, Enterprise networks, handheld devices, and Home Networking segments. He currently works with worldwide network operators to introduce new wireless technologies and features to market.  He has also been actively involved in the carrier middleware community and participates in various foundations to drive the progress of middleware solutions for service providers and broadband networks.

Magnus is a pioneer on broadband apps on CPEs, with nearly a decade of hands-on experience. His work has combined practical experience with operators and thought-leadership through standardization work both with RDK-B and BBF through USP Software Module Management.

At Domos — later acquired by Cujo AI — his team achieved a landmark milestone: the first container ever deployed in production for a Tier 1 operator on RDK-B. Today, Cujo AI stands as the most widely deployed RDK-B app in the world, active in around 40 million RDK-B households. At the RDK Summit, Cujo AI are showcasing the first-ever app in the RDK-B App Framework.

Arunkumar is a Senior Technical Architect with a passion for technology and 19+ yrs of experience in embedded systems with expertise in product development for networking, multimedia and general embedded domains.

Kevin Ross oversees the middleware development, design-in and delivery of software into gateway device, partnering with a number of SoC providers, OEMs, and third-party software companies.

Kevin specializes in key areas such as system integration, delivery management, scalability across a broad partner base, design-in support, and technology strategy.  With a background in SoC development and middleware, coupled with a wealth of knowledge in telecommunications and cable industries, Kevin offers decades of experience on delivering solutions to market.

Sherik Sensin is an Embedded Software Engineer at Deutsche Telekom with 8+ years in embedded networking and broadband frameworks. As Functional Lead for Core Routing and Networking on the Hybrid Access project, he specializes in WAN architecture design within the RDK-B ecosystem. Sherik led key contributions to DHCP Manager and MAP-E development and spearheaded the recent RDK-B WAN ecosystem redesign, introducing multi-WAN parallel scanning for high-speed broadband over low-speed DSL and LTE/5G interfaces.

João currently leads the embedded software development for NOS Home Gateways.

João has more than 15 years of experience in the telecom sector. Having worked on B2C Video and Broadband products, he is an embedded software engineer with a strong background in networking and video technologies.

Matthew Stanger is a Software Development Director at T-Mobile where he is responsible for CPE Software & Strategy. He has helped T-Mobile build 5G Home Internet from the ground up and has recently worked on upstreaming 5G support within RDK. In his career, Matthew has successfully incorporated numerous FOSS projects, such as OpenWrt, Yocto, RDK, Kubernetes, ModemManager, OpenAPI Generator and more into consumer products and has contributed back software both personally and through partnerships.

Saravanakumar Sudalai is Director Technology at Qualcomm, with over 25 years of experience in embedded systems and product engineering, including 18 years at Qualcomm. Currently, Saravana is leading the Middleware Product Engineering and Technology team. In his current role, Saravana focuses on translating middleware architecture and technology innovations into production‑ready, scalable solutions—spanning system design, development, integration, and large‑scale deployment. His expertise includes Boot ROM, bootloaders, BSP drivers, and Linux-based operating systems, along with knowledge in networking, Wi-Fi technologies, and audio/video codecs. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the design and development of complex, high-performance products, bridging the gap between hardware and software. His work focuses on building reliable, scalable systems from the ground up, optimizing performance, and enabling seamless integration across platforms.

Prem Thilagar is a Director of Product Management at Qualcomm with over 20 years of experience in embedded systems and product engineering, including 14 years at Qualcomm. He currently leads the Software Product Management function for the Access Point and WAN Technologies unit, driving strategy and execution across platforms.

Prem is responsible for defining software roadmaps across chipsets, covering BSP, Networking, middleware, and ecosystem integrations, while working closely with Partner Solutions to ensure alignment with Qualcomm’s long-term strategic goals. His expertise spans Linux-based operating systems, BSP drivers, networking, and Wi‑Fi technologies.

Leveraging a strong engineering background, Prem has led the successful rollout of multiple generations of cutting-edge networking and Wi‑Fi features, effectively bridging the gap between deep technical innovation and business strategy by being an effective Product Manager. He has played a key role in Qualcomm’s open-source initiatives and currently focuses on ensuring that Qualcomm solutions are carrier-grade, scalable, and ready to meet evolving market demands.

Oscar’s current focus centers on three critical areas: standardizing App ecosystems through Firebolt Connect, fostering collaboration within RDK’s Video App Community, and defining the long-term vision and strategy for RDK’s entertainment platform.
